| As far as I know, none of the Sony's are customizable. The lesson to be learned from Sony is that a hardware company should NOT also be a software company. All the various factions of Sony Entertainment (music, movies, TV, etc.) have put such strong restrictions on their players, MiniDisc, CD Discman, and DAPs, that they have prevented them from being even remotely competitive. The only factors that kept them in the market were the fantastic design and superior sound quality of their products. With the new leadership, they have seemed to realize this, and are making positive efforts. Whether this is enough,remains to be seen. |
